Pacemaker and Defibrillator Clinics

We offer a regular clinic for follow-up and adjustment of implanted devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators. Depending on the type of device you have, you may need to be checked every 3 to 12 months. During your visit, a programmer will be used to interrogate your device by placing a special instrument on top of the skin where your device is located. Once the information is obtained, the data is reviewed by our electrophysiologist and recommendations or changes are offered.
